Role Summary: The Web Development Engineer will empower health system solutions by designing, developing (programming), testing, and maintaining web pages and applications that will improve care, eliminate waste, or enhance the patient experience. 

Develops and maintains web applications using development best practices and tools 
Develops and maintains web page and portal integrations to existing applications as necessary using development best practices 
Establishes and executes web development testing and documentation strategies.  

Required Education: 

Bachelor’s degree or formal training in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience. 

Preferred Education:  Master’s degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience. 

Required Experience: 

3 – 5 years of proven, qualified and seasoned work experience in a web development role developing highly functional web pages and applications. 

 
Preferred Experience: 

5 or more years of proven, qualified and seasoned work experience in a web development role, preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience with both graphical design tools and object-oriented development languages highly preferred.
