HomeGauge Inspection Software is looking for a new team member for the Sales & Technical Support Team who can handle customer service with a smile. We are located in the River Arts District of Asheville, and have been in business for over 16 years. The Sales & Support Team position is 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday. A Technical Support Specialist at our company spends the majority of their time assisting customers via telephone or email. Our user base calls in for help and/or training with our home inspection software and web services. The customers are mainly blue collar and knowledgeable about homes but are not always computer people. Our software is easy to learn and we will teach you. We are looking for a person that will be able to learn quickly, knows some HTML, and if you know any CSS that’s a plus in order to help with formatting. You would need to be able to enjoy helping people over the phone, be comfortable remotely viewing their computer and work well within a team structure as well as work autonomously. The pay is good, there is a performance based company bonus system, 10 days of vacation, 5 days of personal/sick time and several paid holidays every year. HomeGauge pays a portion of the offered medical benefits, and has a 3% matching retirement savings option as well. Opportunities to travel are offered when we go to Home Inspection Conferences in places like Las Vegas, Canada, San Diego and other points of interest (of course, there are locations that are not as interesting). With this position you would need to be familiar with Windows Operating Stystems, Android OS and it’s helpful to have some familiarity with iOS as well.
