Role Summary: The Web Systems Analyst will ensure a high quality experience for system users by leveraging strong partnerships with vendors and engineering teams. Provides leadership for the research, evaluation, selection, testing and implementation of information systems in support of the health system’s core web applications, both internal and external. Use proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT investments. The Web Systems Analyst analyzes designs, develops, and documents web-related computer information systems, serves as application leader to guide systems through programming, testing, and implementation and provides ongoing support to users through maintenance and troubleshooting.
Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or formal training in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Education: Master’s degree in a technology-related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in the design of major web based computer systems is preferred. Experience with MySQL, MS SQL, or Oracle is preferred. Experience in the design and programming of web applications in a team-oriented environment is preferred. Sharepoint and WordPress experience is preferred.
